Photography and videography have always been a passion of mine. Growing up in the beautiful mountains of New Mexico, gorgeous landscapes and rich culture surrounded me. When I received my first camera I knew that the ability to capture these images was more than just showing the beauty of the world around me, but translating the way this beauty made me feel, and allowing others to feel it through my images.

Brass Bear Photography was born through the realization that I can help others capture their own beauty, and those unforgettable moments, and make it a full time career. I chose to attend school, learn the craft inside and out, and ensure that I have all of the tools in my tool belt to be the best I can possibly be. Through this journey, I also found a love of videography. I was lucky enough to have teachers that inspired me to challenge myself, and give me opportunities to step beyond my comfort zone.

This Blog will be a mixture of stories about my own experiences, failures, and successes, as well as product reviews, best practices that I have learned, and overall a documentary of my journey taking my passion and turning it into my purpose.
